    The Education Support service is overseen by the Executive Leadership Team and includes access to a team of School Leaders.


    Educational support for academies includes the following:

    • Termly ‘health checks’ 
    • Data management and reports
    • Headteacher appraisal and performance management support
    • Guidance on career pathways and CPD opportunities
    • Improvement strategies
    • Contact support for Headteachers
    • Reporting of key performance information to the DfE and RD
    • Reporting on schools’ performance to the Trustees
    • Succession planning
    • Support with recruitment to leadership roles
    • Oversight of school improvement resources and deployment
    • Guidance on national changes
    • Preparing for Ofsted inspections
    • Review of Local Governing Committees
    • Educational policy development
    • Curriculum support
    • SEF support
    • Pupil Premium scrutiny and review
    • Safeguarding reviews
    • Access to Teach East to aid with recruitment and training
    • Use of specialist Primary Physical Education and Performing Arts teams (this will be costed separately and quoted to individual schools taking into account level of support required and relevant Forms of Entry involved)
    • Early Years support
    • Specialist SEND support
    • Data Protection support

    Governors and Trustees accurately identify areas in which to strategically support the school to improve. They fulfil their statutory duties. The Trust and Governors work collaboratively and use their combined experience to successfully hold leaders to account.
