Trust CEO

The CEO support comprises the following: 

For the Headteachers:

• Direct 1:1 line management meeting, with CEO every fortnight
• Permanent Exclusion consideration meetings / IRP and Tribunal support from the CEO
• Ofsted intervention and support. CEO attendance and expertise during key Ofsted meetings.
• A two-day Headteachers’ conference led by CEO with a training workshop delivered by CEO on keynote topics
• Access to legal services for Headteachers
• Mock Ofsted preparation for Headteachers overseen and planned by CEO and with his involvement
• Peer review and audits of Headteachers and their schools overseen and planned by CEO
• Termly reports and updates sent from central Trust service staff on key areas: Early years, SEND and safeguarding, providing feedback loop to Headteachers, Governors and CEO
• Performance management targets set by CEO and in collaboration with each headteacher
• An evolving MAT Development Plan, written by the Trust leadership and in collaboration with all Headteachers
• Oversight of the totality of each school alongside each headteacher and being able to deploy key staff when school in crises mode to support and advise
• Data oversight and support for secondary Headteachers as provided by the Trust Data Lead
• Direct and regular face to face meetings with central Trust staff, reporting their findings on early years, SEND and safeguarding
• Website support
• Human Resources support
• Grievance support

For the Central Service staff:

• Regular meetings and Line management
• Performance Management meetings with target setting set in collaboration with Central Trust staff
• Provision of Headquarters to allow all central service staff dedicated office space

For the Trustees / Governors:

• Regular Trustees updates and meetings
• An understanding and link that Trustees form an integral part a successful Trust and are invited to all key events
• Involved in the Trust Development Plan and being part of the strategic vision
• Organisation of schools’ review at the end of the academic year, involving Headteacher of each individual school, Chair of Governors, Chair of Trustees, and CEO
