The CEO support comprises the following:
For the Headteachers:
- Direct 1:1 line management meeting, with CEO every fortnight
- Permanent Exclusion consideration meetings / IRP and Tribunal support from the CEO
- Ofsted intervention and support. CEO attendance and expertise during key Ofsted meetings.
- A two-day Headteachers’ conference led by CEO with a training workshop delivered by CEO on keynote topics
- Access to legal services for Headteachers
- Mock Ofsted preparation for Headteachers overseen and planned by CEO and with his involvement
- Peer review and audits of Headteachers and their schools overseen and planned by CEO
- Termly reports and updates sent from central Trust service staff on key areas: Early years, SEND and safeguarding, providing feedback loop to Headteachers, Governors and CEO
- Performance management targets set by CEO and in collaboration with each headteacher
- An evolving MAT Development Plan, written by the Trust leadership and in collaboration with all Headteachers
- Oversight of the totality of each school alongside each headteacher and being able to deploy key staff when school in crises mode to support and advise
- Data oversight and support for secondary Headteachers as provided by the Trust Data Lead
- Direct and regular face to face meetings with central Trust staff, reporting their findings on early years, SEND and safeguarding
- Website support
- Human Resources support
- Grievance support
For the Central Service staff:
- Regular meetings and Line management
- Performance Management meetings with target setting set in collaboration with Central Trust staff
- Provision of Headquarters to allow all central service staff dedicated office space
For the Trustees / Governors:
- Regular Trustees updates and meetings
- An understanding and link that Trustees form an integral part a successful Trust and are invited to all key events
- Involved in the Trust Development Plan and being part of the strategic vision
- Organisation of schools’ review at the end of the academic year, involving Headteacher of each individual school, Chair of Governors, Chair of Trustees, and CEO
